CLARION (Dorchester, Clark Co, WI) 03/30/1928 Denzin, Edna (22
MAR 1928) A very pretty
wedding took place at the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church at Mukwonago,
Thursday, March 22nd, 1928, at 6:30 in the evening when Miss Edna
Denzin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Denzin, formerly of Milan,
was married to Mr. Ernest Grube of Mukwonago. The bride was
dressed in a beautiful white georgette dress and embroidered silk
veil, and carried a large bouquet of pink roses and white sweet
peas. Miss Hildegarde
Lindow of Medford was maid of honor and wore a peach colored
georgette dress and carried a bouquet of orchid sweet pears. The bridesmaid was
Miss Gertrude Box of Mukwonago who wore a pale green georgette
dress and carried a bouquet of pink sweet peas. The best man was
Mr. Fred Grube, a brother of the groom. Both men wore the
conventional dark suits. Immediately after
the ceremony a bounteous wedding dinner was served at the
bride’s home, the house being decorated in pale green and
white. The wedding group drove to Waukesha in the afternoon to have
their wedding pictures taken. They left shortly after for Phoenix,
Ariz., where the groom will be employed in taking of government
trucks, the position opening the 1st of April. We join with
Dorchester relatives and friends of Miss Edna in extending
congratulations and well wishes. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
