at nine o’clock at the Evangelical Christ Church Parsonage at
Athens, Miss Mae Andre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Andre of the
village of Athens, became the bride of Mr. C. L. Manes, son of Mr.
and Mrs. O. Mannes of this village (Dorchester, Clark County,
Wis.), Rev. Frank Huetter performing the ceremony. Miss Adeline
Andre, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Mr. Joseph
Kronschnabl Jr., of Dorchester, attended the groom. The bride was
attired in a blue georgette dress trimmed with velvet and wore a
corsage bouquet of sweet peas and roses. The maid of honor was
attired in a dress of blue canton crepe and also wore a corsage of
sweet peas and roses. After the ceremony
a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s
parents to immediate relatives and the young couple left on a
wedding trip to points in the southern part of the state, Adeline
Andre and Joseph Kronschnabl accompanying them as far as Milwaukee,
returning Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. C. L.
