A very quiet wedding took place at the Catholic Parsonage at Colby last Thursday afternoon, Sept. 20th, 1928, when Miss Grace Olson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Olson, was united in marriage to Mr. Herman Feldbrugge. Rev. H. Lachnit officiated and Miss Gertrude Feldbrugge acted as bridesmaid and Henry Feldbrugge, best man.
The bride wore a very beautiful gown of tan colored flat crepe and the bridesmaid was attired in a dress of rose colored flat crepe.
Following the marriage ceremony the bridal party drove to the home of the bride’s parents where a wedding reception was given to the immediate members of the family. In the evening a free wedding dance was given at Cherokee which was largely attended.
The young couple will make their home on the Walter Wiersig farm which the groom has rented.
