(24 OCT 1928) An event of
unusual interest to Dorchester, Clark County, Wis. Folks occurred
Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. when Miss Bertha Wigstadt, daughter
of the late Tom Wigstadt, became the wife of Carl Braun, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Albert Braun. The wedding
ceremony was performed by Rev. P. F. Walter, pastor of the
Evangelical Church, at the Wigstadt home. Miss Mable Wigstadt and
Hilda Krakenberger were the bridesmaids and Henry Schraeder and
Louis Wigstadt were the groomsmen. The bride was
daintily attired in a beautiful gown of forget-me-not blue flat
crepe, white pumps and hose, and a daintily shimmering veil, and
carried a lovely bouquet of roses, chrysanthemums, snap dragons and
ferns. Her bridesmaids, Mable Wigstadt was gowned in a crabapple
green flat crepe and Hilda Krakenberger in a rose flat crepe and
both carried bouquets similar to the bride’s ad the groom and
his attendant in their conventional blue, completed the pleasing
scene. After the
ceremony, Mr. Paul Weiher, brother-in-law of the bride, took the
bridal couple in his car and Oscar Peissig of Valparaiso, Ind., the
attendants in his car and all motored to Medford for the wedding
pictures. After the return
of the bridal party a bounteous three course dinner was served to
the assemble guests, which were the near relatives of both
