Withee, Clark County, Wis. - Services for John Zielinski, 90, of Route 1, Withee, were at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin with the Rev. Casimar Paul, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Zielinski died at 4 a.m. Aug. 27 at Stanley Nursing Home.
He was born Dec. 5, 1886 in Warsaw, Poland and came to the United States in 1902, moving to Chicago where he worked in a foundry.
In 1909 he moved to Tennessee, where he married Emma Nagorski Feb. 2, 1910 in Deer Lodge. They moved to a farm near Lublin in 1911, and returned to Chicago in 1920. In 1922 they moved to a farm near Withee, where he lived until entered the Stanley Nursing Home in April.
Survivors include his widow; six sons, Joseph of Owen, Frank of Wayne, N.J., Stanley of Aurora, Ill., Walter of Route 1, Withee, Steve of La Grange, Ill., and Leonard of Florida, seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by one son.
