Boxrucker, Joseph (20 JUN 1890 - 25 Augl 1977)

Colby, Wis. - Joseph Boxrucker, 87, Colby, Wisconsin, died in his home at 1:40 p.m. Thursday.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby, the Rev. Francis A. Rushmann officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends May call after 10 a.m. Sunday in the Rux-Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby.

Mr. Boxrucker was born June 20, 1890 in Medford. He received his education in Medford and married Hattie Pueschner June 17, 1913 in Dorchester. She died in 1963.

Mr. Boxrucker farmed in the Dorchester area most of his life. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Celia Neibacher of Hawthorne, Calif., Mrs. Mildred Beisner of Colby, Mrs. Fred (Mamie) Scidmore, Holcombe, and Mrs. Lee (Josephine) Gayken, Portland, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Martha Simerson of Milwaukee; one brother, John Boxrucker of Abbotsford; 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was predeceased by his wife, one half-brother, one half-sister, three brothers and his parents.
