Agnes M. Schrant, 94, entered into eternal rest Monday May 3, 2004 at Casa De Oro Care Center in Las Cruces.

Visitation will begin Friday May 7, 2004 at six o’clock in the afternoon at Baca’s Funeral Chapels.

A prayer vigil will follow at seven o’clock there.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Saturday May 8, 2004 at ten o’clock in the morning at Holy Family Catholic Church with Fr. Andy Riley officiating.

Concluding services and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Agnes was born on December 22, 1909 in Dorchester, WI, to Joseph and Pauline Long. She married Frank J. Schrant on January 11, 1933 in Milwaukee, WI.

Agnes enjoyed working in retail before moving to Hawaii and later on decided to move to Deming.

While living in Deming she became a member of Holy family Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Her family and many friends will miss her fondly.

She is survived by her daughter Agnes Branco of Las Cruces; a grandson, Tim Brower of Grapevine, TX; granddaughter Karen Hancock and husband Jack of Las Cruces along with five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Agnes was preceded in death by her husband Frank; son-in-law William Branco Sr. and two grandsons, Michael and William Branco Jr.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request memorial contributions be made to Holy Family Building Fund.
