Mildred Abegglen
STETSONVILLE - Mildred Myrtle Abegglen, 75, Stetsonville, died June 1, 2004, in Saint Joseph's Hospital Palliative Care Unit in Marshfield.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stetsonville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Maurina Funeral Home of Dorchester is assisting the family with the arrangements.
She was born June 24, 1928, in the town of Mayville, rural Dorchester, to Carl and Mary (Lindau) Habeck. She and Donald Abegglen were united in marriage on Oct. 3, 1959, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stetsonville. The couple farmed in the town of Deer Creek, and Mildred was employed by the Medford Co-op as a sales clerk in the clothing department. After farming, they did janitorial work at Associated Bank for 13 years.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Abegglen, Stetsonville; two sons, Gregory (Marilyn) Abegglen, Medford, and Jeffery (Beth) Abegglen, Stetsonville; daughter, Lisa (Jeffery) Dums, Stetsonville; six grandchildren; and her sister, Helen Maxam, Appleton.
