Mrs. Mary Hycizek Kitkowsky was born at Prague, Bohemia, Aug. 4, 1853, and immigrated to Chicago at the age of 17 years. She was married to John Kitkoswky in 1876. To this union were born six children, Charlotte, the oldest daughter died at the age of 10 months; Josephine (Mrs. Joseph Valley) died in Seattle at the age of 29 years; Joseph at home; Nettie (Mrs. George Kellogg) of Chicago; Eddie of New York, and Mrs. M. C. of Washburn survive. Mrs. Kitkowsky passed away Saturday a.m. at 8’clock. Funeral services were held at St. Peters and St. Pauls church at Spaulding. Interment was in St. Mary’s Catholic Church cemetery.
