The Ladies Aid will meet this Thursday, Aug. 17, at the home of Mrs. Aug. Krause one mile south of the Williams’ home. Everyone welcome.

Rev. White held services Sunday afternoon and don’t forget there will be a meeting two weeks from that date.

Howard Dow drove to Madison on Sunday and brought his brother home and also a patient from Loyal both of whom were taking treatments at the General Hospital.

Buster Larsen and family accompanied by his brother Sern and family of South Dakota went to a point in Minnesota to visit their sister Marie. Walter Larsen and friend also started on the return trip to South Dakota Sunday after attending the World’s fair.

Miss Sadie Larsen accompanied her brother Walter to the fair last week returning Saturday evening.

Jim Short and daughter Marie visited his daughter Opal in the Watertown Hospital last weekend. Opal is nicely recovering from an operation for appendicitis.

The Chris Feutz family and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Frantz were visitors at Mr. Qualleys’ Sunday.

The Pratt Dow family celebrated two birthdays Sunday evening.
