Palmer, R. C. (1816? - 28 Feb 1880)
Died in Colby, Clark Co., Wis., Feb. 28th, 1880, at the residence of his son, of disease of the heart, Mr. R. C. Palmer, in the 63rd year of his age.
Deceased was a resident of Rio, Columbia Co., and was called to Colby, some four weeks ago, with his wife, to care for their son, who had been badly injured while working in White’s sawmill. He enjoyed his usual health until four or five days before his death. On Friday morning he was taken worse. His illness was of short duration and he expired Saturday evening at 9 o’clock. His remains were taken, yesterday, to Rio, for burial. He leaves a wife and nine children to mourn his loss.
