Hi Ruth,
Can you tell me the period of time that there was a dance hall at Green Grove? I've got an 1888 map of Wisconsin, and I notice that Green Grove is shown as a town on that map. What else was a Green Grove? Do you how long there was a post office there? I know the 1890 "Clark County, Illustrated", of 1890, mentions a post office in the "Eastern part of the town." Was it in a store, at the cheese factory, or in someone's home?
Do you know when the cheese factory first opened? When did it close down?
Thanks, Helen
