Smith, Guy C. (25 APR 1877 - 21 Augl 1930)

Guy C. Smith, son of Clarendor L. and Emma Smith, was born April 25, 1877 at Princeton, Wis., and died August 21, 1930.

At one year of age with his parents he came to Clark county where he grew to manhood. Most of his life was spent in Clark county with the exception of a few years spent in Price county where he was engaged in logging.

He has taken an active interest in church and Sunday school.

He was married Nov. 20, 1902 to Miss Belle Benedict. To this union were born five children, Mrs., Isabel Rundle of Racine, Wis., Mrs. Violet Anderson of Rocholt, Wis., Robert, Glen and Eugene at home. He also leaves to mourn his loss one sister, Mrs. Ethel Kendall of Osakie, Minn. and one brother, Lee F. Smith and daughter spent Sunday evening at relatives and friends.

Services were held in the M. E, church at York Center, Rev. Zimmerman of Chili assisted by Rev. Olsen of Loyal conducted the services.
