She taught Sunday school, belonged to the Ladies of Grace, was a member of the Grace Cemetery Board and, in her later years, participated at the Senior Center in Marshfield. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, attending reunions, cooking, traveling, dancing, playing cards, but most of all talking. She never met a person she couldn't talk with and usually discovered they were distant relatives.

She is further survived by three sisters, Mrs. Frances Trieweiler and Mrs. Marion (Leroy) Seidl, both of Marshfield, Mrs. Norma Hansen, Brillion; as well as a sister-in-law, Myrtle Schwantes, Marshfield.

Three brothers, Lother, Eldor and Fredrick Schwantes, and her parents, preceded Edna in death. Memorials in Mrs. Seehafer's name May be designated to the Grace Lutheran Church.
