Waltenbaugh, George (3 Sept. 1855 - 30 Sept. 1933)

George Waltenbaugh was born at Pittsburg, Pa., September 3rd, 1855 and died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Mary Moore near this city, September 30th, 1933, at the age of 78 years, and 27 days.

He leaves three sisters and one brother to mourn his death: Mrs. W. J. Bently and Mrs. Ann Smock, both living in Iowa, James Elmer Waltenbaugh of Oregon, and Mrs. Mary Moore of Neillsville. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Christian Church at Volga City, Iowa. The funeral services were held at Lowe’s Funeral Home, Oct. 2 at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Longenecker delivering the service. The remains were laid to rest in the Neillsville Cemetery.
