Turnbull, Matilda (19 Jan 1881)
Married, in Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis., Jan. 19th, 1881, by Rev. W. T. Hendren, Mr. William Edward Cornick and Miss Matilda Turnbull, both of Neillsville, Wis.
The above explains a mystery to us. While on our way to Neillsville on the 11th inst., we took passage of Cornick’s stage from Greenwood, and it puzzled us amazingly to hear Will, every now and then, burst forth in a series of happy shouts, which he had the temerity to call singing. He was happy, he had felt the power of a woman’s winning ways, the day was fixed and all serene as a June morning. Well William you have our blessing, May you "lif long und brosper."
