Eggebrecht, Mary (24 Augl 1881)
Married, on the 24th inst., in the town of Wien, Marathon Co., by Rev. H. Erck, Mr. Chas. F. Carpenter and Miss Mary Eggebrecht, both of Colby, Clark County, Wis.
The above couple are both well and favorably known among the young people of this vicinity, who all unite in wishing them a long, happy and prosperous life.
Immediately after the ceremony the happy couple, with the assembled guests, repaired to the residence of the bride’s parents, where a fine collation was spread, of which all partook with great gusto. The afternoon and evening was spent in feasting and dancing and the latter was kept up until the dawn of the following day, when the guests repaired to their several homes. All who attended report having had a most excellent time. The Phonograph acknowledges the receipt of a quarter section of the bride’s cake and wishes the happy pair - well, everything they want.
