KIVIKO-KNIGHT
At the Curtis Lutheran parsonage yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock Miss Irene Mae Knight, Curtiss, became the bride of Leonard A. Kiviko, Owen. The Rev W. L. Anderson, read the nuptial rites.
The bride, the daughter of Allen Knight, Curtiss, wore a pale pink silk organdie frock for her wedding. She also wore a matching headdress and carried a bouquet of pink and yellow roses and snapdragons.
Miss Elizabeth Phillips, maid of honor, was dressed in pink organdy and wore a corsage of sweetpeas.
The grom, the son of John Kiviko, Owen, was attended by Ed Kiviko.
Lunch was served at the Kiviko home where friends greeted the couple. The bridal party later was entertained at supper at the bride's home.
On Sunday, April 19, a bridal shower was held in honor of the couple at Curtiss hall. Numerous were the gifts which were presented to them for their new home.
After April 25 Mr. and Mrs. Kiviko will be at home to friends at Curtiss where the groom farms.
Miss Selma Knight, Milwaukee, was the only out-of-town guest attending the wedding.
