Bauer, Romaine E. (6 Jan 1911 - 12 OCT 1930)

Romaine E. Bauer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bauer was born Jan. 6, 1911, in the village of Loyal, and educated in Loyal parochial and public schools. He died on Sunday, Oct. 12, 1930 at 12:20 A. M. from the effects of an accident which occurred a couple days previous.

The funeral services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 1930 at 9 A. M. at St Balthasar’s Catholic Church, the Rev. A. J. Aurit officiating. Burial took place in the local Catholic cemetery. The following young men were pall bearers: Harold Andraska, Lawrence Bauer, Matt Bentzler, Bernard Davel, Emanuel Domine and Earl Thums.

The deceased is survived by his parents, three sisters and two brothers; Josephine, Mrs. Harold Zimmerman of Jefferson, Wis., Aurelia, Mrs. Howard Stillwell, of Neillsville, Wis. Joseph, Geneva, and John at home, besides other relatives and many friends who mourn his loss.

Romaine possessed a quiet and friendly disposition and many fine traits of character.

The Tribune extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
