A pretty fall wedding took place at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Middle Ridge on Tuesday morning ay 9:30 when Miss Ethel Mashak and Mr. Anton Hubing were united in the holy bonds of matrimony.
The bride was attired in a gown of brown transparent velvet, trimmed with eggshell lace and wearing a hat to match. She carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums and rose buds.
Miss Vinetta Hubing, a sister of the groom acted as bridesmaid. She wore a dress of brown transparent velvet trimmed with eggshell lace and carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums and rose buds.
The groom wore a blue suit and was attended by Clarence Mashak, a brother of the bride.
The reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents for about fifty relatives. The room was beautifully decorated in orange and white.
A dance was given in the evening at Newburg’s hall for relatives and friends of the bride and groom. All departed wishing them a happy wedded life.
Those from out of town who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. John Hubing, sons Raymond and Joseph, Mr. and Mrs. Rollie Bauer, Mr. and Mrs., Paul Bauer, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Degenhardt, Mrs. Fred Stutte, daughter Laura and son Hugo, Mr. Leo and Henry Degenhardt, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hutter of Loyal, Mr., and Mrs., Frank Hubing and daughter Leona, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hubing, Mrs. Geo.
