Mrs. E. Grobe Dies at Age 61

Mrs. Edwin (Adelia) Grobe, 61, of Chili, died at 3:05 a.m. today (Thursday) at St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield where she had been a patient the past four weeks. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church with the Rev. Roland Roehrs, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Yolo cemetery in Clark County. A lifelong resident of the Clark County area, the former Adelia Lustig was born March 16, 1909, in the town of Lynn and received her education in Granton schools. Her marriage to Edwin Grobe took place March 29, 1929, in the town of Fremont. Mrs. Grobe had been employed for 10 years as a seamstress for the J.C. Penney Company at Marshfield. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid and the LWML. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Leo (Verna) Roehl, Chili, and Mrs. Ronald (Carol) Koepke, Marshfield; three sons, Elmer, Chili, Louis, Three Lakes, and Edward, Flint, Misch; 12 grandchildren and two brothers, Ernest Lustig, Marshfield; and Ervin Lustig, Port Charlotte, Fla. She was receded in death by a daughter and a granddaughter.
