Pipkorn, Bertha (30 May 1886 - 23 NOV 1961)

Loyal, Clark County, Wis. - Funeral services will be held at the Myre Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday for Mrs. Bertha Pipkorn, 75, who died at 1 p.m. Thursday at her home on route 1, Spencer. The Rev. Paul Doering will officiate and burial will be made in Beaver Town Cemetery.

The body will repose at Myre Funeral Home beginning Sunday noon.

The former Bertha Sell was born in the town of Beaver on May 30, 1886. She was married to Louis Pipkorn on Nov. 4, 1903 in the town of Beaver and had lived in this area all her life.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Rudolph (Adeline) Thiel and Mrs. Marvin (Velda) Machon, Wis. Rapids; Mrs. Joseph (Hattie) Krall, Marshfield, and Mrs. Eino (Doris) Haavisto, Owen; seven sons, Oscar, Adolph, Fred and Otto at home, Leo and Louis of Owen and Bernard of Waupaca; 23 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Louis (Edith) Warncke and Mrs. Harry (Martha) Quackenbush, Antigo and a brother, Herman Sell, Loyal.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother.
