Bjornstad, Arnold (1912 - 23 NOV 1961)

Owen, Clark County, Wis. - Arnold Bjornstad, 49, who suffered a heart attack shortly after returning home from a hunting trip and was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, died there at 8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home. The Rev. James R. Stone, pastor of Alliance Church, will officiate and burial will be made in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

Mr. Bjornstad was born in 1912 in Owen and has lived here all his life. He married the former Elsa Karye on Jan. 8, 1937, at Owen.

He is survived by two sons, James and William, Owen; two grandchildren; three brothers, Arthur, Cadott and Melvin and Selmer, Owen, and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Amerling, Flint, Mich., and Mrs. Bordhild Grant, Racine.

He was preceded in death by a sister.
