NEW FERTILIZER PLANT PLACED IN OPERATION
Neillsville--Neillsville's newest industry, the Van Gorden Fertilizing plant, commenced its first operation Saturday, and in the first two days of grinding and mixing of the ingredients, prpared more than 90 tons of fertilizer for commercial use.
The plant will operate for about two month each spring, prior to the spring seeding, and will employ about eight to ten men when operating at capacity. The plant is capable of turning out a maximum of 75 tons a day.
