Garnder, Minnie Augusta Louisa (6 Feb. 1870 - 7 Feb. 1934)

Mrs. Frank Gardner, aged 64, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. Todd, Feb. 7, 1934, as a result of pneumonia. Mrs. Todd has cared for her mother since Nov. 29, when she fell and fractured her leg.

Minnie Augusta Louisa was born to Henry and Adorthea Retzlaff Feb. 6, 1870, in the town of Lynn, were she grew to womanhood.

She was united in marriage to Frank Gardner Dec. 25, 1893. They resided in the town of Fremont and reared a family of eleven children all of whom remain to grieve her passing, except Estella Ellen, who preceded her in death.

Surviving relatives including her husband and the following children are: Adelbert, Racine; Mrs. Edward Paulson, Marshfield; Henry, Janesville; Mrs. Less Todd, Granton; Mrs. Franke, Granton; Cyril, Chancy, Russel, Dorothy and Mamie, at home.

There are also three sisters, Miss Mathilda Retzlaff, Granton; Mrs. Carl Zais, Granton; and Mrs. Albert Garbush, Loyal.

Funeral services were conducted at the home of Less Todd Friday at 2 p.m., Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating. Interment was made in the Windfall Cemetery, Granton.
