Stallman, Margaretha (19 Nov. 1866 - 4 March 1934)

Mrs. Margaretha Stallman passed away at her home in Granton March 4, after an illness of less than a week.

Mrs. Stallman, whose maiden name was Margaretha Grimsman, was born in Germany, Nov. 19, 1866. She came to America at the age of 19 and was married to Peter Stallman at Kiel, Wis., Feb. 1, 1887.

They moved to Neillsville 40 years ago, and seven years later moved to Granton where she has resided since.

Mr. Stallman died some years ago. She is survived by one son Arthur Stallman, and one daughter, Mrs. Doris Frasier, both of Camp Douglas. She leaves also a brother, a sister and four grandchildren.

The funeral was held Wednesday, March 7, at 1:30 p.m. at the home and at 2 o’clock at the Union Church, Granton, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating.
