Breed, Robert (31 Aug 1889 - 17 April 1934)

Robert Breed, 45 years old, who died at Joliet, Ill., April 17, from a heart attack, was buried in the Neillsville Cemetery Friday afternoon after services at the Schiller Funeral Home, Rev. G. W. Longenecker conducting the rites. The body arrived here on the 3:50 p.m. train Friday accompanied by Mrs. Breed and their daughter, Carol Jean.

Members of the Otto A. Haugen post of the American Legion of this city and other former service men were pallbearers. A. J. Haugen sounded taps over the grave. Mr. Breed enlisted for service in the World War at Duluth, Sept. 2, 1918.

Mr. Breed was born in Neillsville Aug. 31, 1889, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Breed. He attended the Neillsville grade and high schools and then took up railroading which he followed for more than 18 years.

He was married Sept. 2, 1918 to Miss Louise Sonnenberg of Winona, who with their daughter Carol Jean, and his sister, Miss Mary Breed of Blaine, Wash., survives.

Others who were here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sonnenberg and Mr. and Mrs. John Burmeister, Winona; Mr. and Mrs. D. Vadneis and children of Green Bay; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duxbury, daughter Blanche and Mrs. Emma Royce, Alma Center.
