Shortville, Wisconsin (Mrs. W. I. Groves)

The Welcome club met with Mrs. Hallie Schultz last Thursday. A large crowd attended.

Mrs. M. Reinart and son Clarence, Mrs. Dusack and Mrs. Alfred Schultz were Neillsville shoppers Thursday p.m.

Wm. Groves and family, Harold Ottow and family, Arnold Ebert and Miss Ruth Belter were Sunday dinner guests at Wm. Ottow’s.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lenskow were callers in the p.m.

Robert Kuhn Jr. is helping Mr. Krutsch haul poles from F. Short’s.

Mrs. Paul Kuhn spent several days last week in Neillsville visiting her mother Mrs. J. Carter and friends also.

There will be a business meeting at Washburn town hall Thursday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. to straighten out CWA work.

Mrs. Carstenson and son Willie called at Krutsch’s Monday p.m.

O. Slagle and Geo. Ehrlic are putting up ice in Ehrlic’s barn.

Mrs. Ralph Short has been quite poorly. Mrs. Ed Short helped her wash Thursday.
