Schaffer, Norma (27 Aug. 1917 - 7 May 2005)

Norma Schaffer, 87, formerly of Colby, Wisconsin, died Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Community Funeral Home, Colby.

Norma Schaffer COLBY -Norma Schaffer, 87, formerly of Colby, Wisconsin, died Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2005, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colby. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2005, at Community Funeral Home in Colby.

Norma was born Aug. 27, 1917, in the town of Colby, Clark County, to Arthur and Marie (Schultz) Lube. Norma and Lester Schaffer were married Aug. 12, 1939, in Colby. He preceded her in death. They farmed together until they moved to Colby. She worked as a teacher's aide until retiring in 1990.

She is survived by her children, Gary Schaffer, Curtiss, and Gayle (Bob) Hansen, Woodruff; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
