There is a tree that grows straight and tall.
It has grown through many years.
It has grown through laughter and tears.
Its branches are many, and grow strength for one another.
It is a tree like no other.
Sometimes a branch will die to make room for new growth.
But please don't cry and please don't weep.
For its roots are strong where beneath the ground they will forever creep.
You are part of that tree.
You are a part of me, sent to add new growth to our family tree.
So even though I am gone, stay and make our tree grow strong.
For on the limbs grow my love, as I look down on you from our home above.
