Becker, Julie Ann (10 Oct. 1969 - 26 Sept. 2004)

MEDFORD__Julie A. Becker, 34, Medford, died at her residence Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004, loved by her family after many years of ill health.

Funeral services for Julie will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Medford. The Rev. Pastor Paul Steinberg will officiate.

Interment will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Don Zenner, Todd Neuenfeldt, Ron Roth, Brock Zenner, Harlen Adams, Larry Neuenfeldt and Eric Schmidt. Honorary pallbearers will be Dana Wavrunek, University of Wisconsin Hospital of Madison RNs and NAs of transplant floor of B4/6 and RNs of Ministry Home Health Care of Marshfield.

Visitation with family and friends will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Maurina Funeral Home in Dorchester.

Julie Ann Hoover was born Oct. 10, 1969, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Wayne and Shirley (Schmidt) Hoover. She received her early education at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran School in Medford and was a 1988 graduate of Northland Lutheran High School in Wausau.

Julie and John Becker were united in marriage on July 8, 1989, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Medford. They later divorced. Before her illness, Julie was employed at the Medford Clinic as a receptionist and in the accounting department. She loved arts and crafts and cake decorating and was dedicated to her family. She was an excellent cook, and her home was always open with hospitality. She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She will be dearly missed by her loving family, parents Wayne and Shirley (Schmidt) Hoover of Stetsonville; son, Anthony John Albert Becker of Greenwood; daughter, Tasha Renee Becker of Greenwood; sister, Lori (Todd) Reinhart of Stetsonville; nieces and nephews, Brittany, Heather and Michael Reinhart; maternal grandmother, Verna Schmidt of Stetsonville; and aunts, uncles and many friends and caregivers.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Earl Schmidt, and paternal grandparents, Albert Hoover and Julia Davis.

Memorials May be given in her name to the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran School of Medford.
