Edward F. Hraby, 84, N2156 Highway C., town of Deer Creek, died Sunday, May 29, 2005, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and farmed in the town of Deer Creek until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine M. Hraby, town of Deer Creek; one daughter, Diane (Bruce) Albrecht, Medford; one son, Leon (Linda) Hraby, Medford; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stetsonville. Burial will be in Medford Evergreen Cemetery II with military rites. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford and will begin again at 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at the church.

MEDFORD - Edward F. Hraby, 84, Medford, died Sunday, May 29, 2005, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stetsonville.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

He was born Oct. 13, 1920, to Anna (Safandova) and Frank Hraby. He married Geraldine Peche on Oct. 4, 1947, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medford. He served stateside toward the end of World War II, and he later took over the family dairy farm, until retiring in the early 1990s.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine (Peche) Hraby, town of Deer Creek; a daughter, Diane (Bruce) Albrecht, Medford; a son, Leon (Linda) Hraby, Medford; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
