KORNESCZUK, Angeline, 90, of Thorp died Sunday at Oakbrook Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Thorp Funeral Home, with burial in New St. Hedwig’s Catholic Cemetery, Thorp.

Friends May call an hour before services at the funeral home.

Angeline Kornesczuk

THORP -Angeline Kornesczuk, 90, of Thorp, died July 25, 2004, at Oakbrook Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Thorp Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was born Oct. 27, 1913, in the town of Reseburg to Anthony and Ann B. (Franconiak) Jaks. She married Joseph Kornesczuk at St. Mary's Czestochowa in the 1930s. The couple farmed in the area for many years. She worked at the ice cream plant in Thorp. Joseph died in the early 1960s.

She is survived by her daughters, Rose (Dan) Beechler, Warren, Mich., and Theresa Kornesczuk, Wheaton, Ill.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Tony (Valerie) Jacks, Thorp, Casmer Jaks, San Diego, Calif., and Joseph Jaks, Glen Ellyn, Ill.
