Fowler, Dudly (? - 1934)

News came last week of the sad death of Dudley Fowler of Minneapolis after an illness of about one week. He was related by marriage to members of the Crump and the Hague families on account of his marriage to Miss Gladys Crump, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Crump. Mrs. Fowler and two daughters, his parents and a brother and a sister survived him.

Mr. and Mrs. Fowler were graduates of Lawrence College and were married soon after graduating.

Mr. Fowler had been identified for many years with the Wooldworth organization and had attained a high position with the company in its management.

He held an important position in the Methodist church in Minneapolis and he was a trustee of Lawrence College.

The funeral services were held on Thursday with the pastor of Joe Hennepin Avenue Methodist Church officiating. There was an unusually large funeral.

The sympathy of many friends here will be extended to Mrs. Fowler and her daughters. - Lake Mills Leader.

Mrs. Fowler will be remembered here as Miss Gladys Crump, who attended the Neillsville high school and lived on the farm now owned by Mrs. Chris Kapfer. The above item was sent to the Press by Mrs. Kate Cornwell of Lake Mills.
