Krause, Eva (Marriage - 18 July 1934)
On July 18 in the cool of the evening Miss Eva Krause and Arnold Grottke became united in holy wedlock. The bride was beautifully attired carrying a bouquet of carnations and the bridesmaid, a twin sister of the bride, carried a twin bouquet of the red and white flowers. The church was decorated with bouquets of snap dragons and zinnias and a number of large ferns. To the strains of Lohengrin they advanced to a position before the altar where the words of the 127 Ps. "Let the Lord build your home," became the wedding theme.
The service was enhanced by a solo by Mrs. Wm. Baumann who sang "O Perfect Love."
The ceremony was read by the Rev. E. Beversdorf in the absence of the local pastor Rev. Wm. Baumann.
After the ceremony a wedding supper was served to the honored guests in the home on the bride.
The young couple intends to make their home in the vicinity of Neillsville.
