Recknor, Mrs. Orilla (Marriage - 21 July 1934)
Mrs. Orilla Recknor, of this city, and Fred Hohenstein, of Neillsville, Wis., were married Tuesday evening, July 21, at La Salle, the Rev. Geo. S. McClary officiating. The bride wore a blue boucle ensemble suit with hat and accessories to match. The groom wore a suit of grey.
The bride is the daughter of C. C. Strong, with whom he has made her home the past three years. She is of Earlville’s finest young women, commanding the respect of all who know her because of her personal graces of mind and heart. She has spent practically all her life in this community and has always been devoted to her relatives and friends who have only the best wishes for her future happiness.
The groom lived many years at LaSalle, later moving to Wisconsin and establishing an enterprising business. During his visits here he has made many friends who admire him for his pleasing personality and integrity.
Mr. and Mrs. Hohenstein will be at home in Neillsville after October 15.

Mr. Hohenstein, who has operated the Neillsville Hatchery since 1918, has built up a large business and numbers among his customers, farmers and chicken raisers throughout a large section of the United States. He has been actively identified with the First Church, Christ Scientist of Neillsville and takes a keen interesting in all of its affairs. The bride is highly spoken of by the Earlville Leader and the Press joins Mr. Hohenstein’s many friends in welcoming her to this community. Mr. and Mrs. Hohenstein arrived here Thursday.
