FOUR DEAT AT OWEN
Of the ten persons reported killed in the state by auto, accidents over the weekend, four lay dead at Owen Sunday night.
Louis Krom, for more than 30 years prominent in business at Owen was killed Sunday forenoon on Highway 10 south of Weyauwega. His daughter, age 12 who was riding with him, escaped unhurt. It is reported that Mr. Krom last control of his car and ran into a tree.
Saturday night about 9 o’clock a family of nice by the name of Du Bois of Minneapolis, driving east on Highway 29, west of Abbotsford, had an accident which resulted in the death of tree members of the family. The father, Eugene DuBois and an infant son, Richard, four months old, died almost immediately after the accident. Gerald, aged two, died later at Owen hospital.
Mrs. Du Bois and four other children are under treatment at Owen hospital, one girl escaped uninjured.
