Walk, H. Marie (Marriage - * Nov. 1934) * Could be off.

The John L. Walk home at 152 South Forest Street was the scene of a pretty wedding Friday at 7:15 p.m., when Miss H. Marie Walk became the bride of Albert Zillmer of Fairchild. Rev. William Bauman officiated in the double ring ceremony.

Miss Walk, who graduated from the teacher training department of the Neillsville high school in 1928, has been employed as a teacher by Joint District No. 2, Town of Beaver, were she has been exceptionally successful. She is a young lady of charming personality and fine character and is spoken most highly of by all who know her. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Zillmer of Fairchild and has been employed for several years in the Otto Gruenke Cheese factory near Granton. He is a young man of quiet and industrious habits and very capable in his work.

Miss Evelyn Wetzel acted as maid of honor and Oscar H. Walk, brother of the bride, as best man. The bride was dressed in tile flat crepe and carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums while Miss Wetzel wore a gown of green flat crepe and carried yellow chrysanthemums.

A chicken dinner was served to 30 guests at the home of the bride’s parents. The home was beautifully decorated with yellow and white chrysanthemums.
