McDonald, Gladys Matilda (8 April 1921 - 4 June 2005)
NEILLSVILLE - Gladys Matilda McDonald, 84, of Neillsville died Saturday, June 4, 2005, at Memorial Nursing Home in Neillsville.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Interment will be in Neillsville City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
She was born April 8, 1921, in Effingham, Ill., to Lewis Bishop and Rose Zella (Haney) Bishop Kinney. She was educated in Gibson City, Ill. She married Francis Michael McDonald on Jan. 18, 1941, at St. Elizabeth Church in Thomasboro, Ill. They farmed in Illinois and Wisconsin, including in the Granton and Neillsville areas. She enjoyed walking, crocheting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her four sons, David (Donna) McDonald, Larry (Ellie) McDonald, both of Neillsville, Robert (Donna) McDonald of Wisconsin Rapids and Gary (Charlene) McDonald of Marshfield; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild (Chase Adam Douglas Synder).
