LYNN RESIDENT, 80, DIES MONDAY NIGHT
Funeral Rites of Mrs. A. S. Dankemyer Will Be Held Friday
Lynn - Mrs. A. S. Dankemyer, 80, a patient at Wisconsin General Hospital, Madison, for 16 days died there of a complication of ailments Monday afternoon.
Funeral services will be held Friday at the Dankemyer home and then at Zion Lutheran Church, Chili. Burial will be made in Yolo cemetery, Fremont.
Mrs. Dankemyer, the former Carrie Hankey, was born in Germany Sept. 28, 1864, and came with her parents to Washburnwhen she was seven years old. She lived there for two years and then moved to Lynn. Since her marriage Aug. 15, 1935, she had been making her home at Fremont.
A member of Zion Lutheran Church at Chili and its Ladies Aid Society. Mrs. Dankemyer is survived by five children, Freeman of Marshfield, Martin of Fremont, William of the Town of Lynn, Mrs. Oscar (Hanna) Loos of Marshfield, and Leo on the home farm; two brothers, Fred of Lynn and Ernest of Nasonville; three stepsisters, Mrs. Christina pischer, Mrs. Ernestina Schultz, and Mrs. Paulina Schlinsog, all of Granton; 16 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Four sisters, Anna, Henrietta, Minnie, and Bertha, and two stepbrothers, Gustave and Charles, also preceded her in death, and a grandson. Pvt. Everett Loos was killed Nov. 27, 1943 in Italy.
