Potter, Daisy (NOV 1881 - 31 May 1885)
Died, in this village (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), May 31st, 1885, of membranous croup, Daisy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Legare Potter, aged three years and seven months.
Little Daisy, the pet of the town. There is not a man, woman or child in this village but knew and loved little Daisy. He was far advanced for a child of his years and had an extraordinary sense of humor; was kin and gentle, when with other children’ and at all times ready for a good time. The bereaved father and mother have the heartfelt sympathies of the entire community.
The funeral occurred at the family residence on Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. N. H. Sweet.
