Adam and Kira Olson wedding
Kira Kamphausen and Adam Olson were united in marriage May 27, 2005, at the Clark County Courthouse. Clark County Judge Jon Counsell officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at the VFW Hall in Colby.
Parents of the couple are Kevin and Melody Kamphausen of Woodstock, Ill., and Allan Olson and Elaine Krause, both of Curtiss.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Althea Turner of Owen, and best man was Kris Schmidt of Stoughton.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Woodstock High School and works as a waitress at Abbyland Truck Stop in Abbotsford.
The groom is a graduate of Abbotsford High School and is employed by Chippewa Concrete in Chippewa Falls. He was scheduled to leave for Iraq on June 16, with 18 months of overseas military duty expected.
