Delo, Merlin C. (21 Jan. 1929 - 21 June 2005)

Merlin C. Delo, 76, of Loyal, died at the House of Dove, in Marshfield, on Tuesday, June 21, 2005.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2005, at the Loyal United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held at the church from noon until the time of service Friday at the church.

Delo was born on Jan. 21, 1929, in the town of Beaver, the son of Henry and Rosa (Wichman) Delo. He was united in marriage to Nancy Colby, in Neillsville on Jan. 21, 1956. He resided and farmed in Beaver until retiring in 1991.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of Loyal; one daughter, Audrey (Randy) Reading, of Granton; three sons, Randy, of Bradenton, Fla.; Clay (Margie) of Loyal; Scott (Christina) of Loyal; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Cuddie Funeral Home of Loyal is assisting the family with arrangements.
