Morley, May M. (31 OCT 1883)
Married, at the residence of the bride’s mother in this village (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), on this Wednesday, Oct 31st, 1883, by Rev. Charles Barker, Mr. Fred R. Hanke and Miss May M. Morley.
Mr. Hanke is the traveling auditor for the Wis. Central Railroad, and one of the finest young men in the employ of that company. Miss Morley is known to many of our readers, having been a resident in this village, with her mother, for the past two years. May is really a fine young lady and is well liked by her many acquaintances. The ceremony was performed this forenoon and was witnessed by a very few of the most intimate friends of the family. After a sumptuous dinner the happy pair took the south bound train for Council Bluffs and Omaha, where they will spend the honeymoon with the family of Mr. J. H. Boyle, Auditor of the western divisions of the C. M. & St. P. R.R. After returning from their western trip Mr. and Mrs. Hanke contemplate settling down and making their residence at Neenah, as that is the most convenient point for Mr. Hanke. The many friends of the young couple and the citizens generally wish them a long life of happiness and prosperity.
