Married, at the residence of the bride’s father, on Monday last, by D. R. Freeman, Esq., Mr. Gilbert E. Vandercook of Spencer, and Miss Annie Thomas of this place (Colby, Wis.).

The above couple has lived in Colby from childhood and they are well known by all residents of Colby. Gil was in the Phonograph office for two years, where he established the reputation of being a steady, sober, industrious young man. Miss Annie is one of the fairest of Colby’s young ladies, a universal favorite with all, and will be greatly missed from our social gatherings. The Phonograph joins the many friends of the happy couple in best wishes for their future happiness and prosperity. Mr. and Mrs. Vandercook took the evening train for Spencer, where everything was prepared for housekeeping, and will settle down to a happy, contented domestic life.
