The marriage of Miss Merlie Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Robinson, Jr., of Milton Junction to Mr. Archie Bickle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bickle of Edgerton, took place Wednesday, August 12, at 1 o’clock at the minister’s home in Rockford. The Rev. J. M. Bannen performed the ceremony.
The bride was attired in an ankle length gown of light blue chiffon. She was attended by Mrs. Cahrles Cox who acted as bridesmaid. She was attired in an ankle length gown of navy blue chiffon.
The groom wore a suit of dark brown. He was attended by Mr. Charles Cox who wore a suit of black serge.
Following the wedding lunch was served at the Federal Café at Rockford, after which the newlyweds returned to the home of the bride.
The bride and groom have a wide circle of friends in the town of Edgerton. She came to Edgerton two years ago with her parents, later moving to Milton Junction at which place they now reside.
Mr. Bickle is employed in the Edgerton garage.
The bride formerly lived in the vicinity of Loyal and has a wide acquaintance of friends who wish her and her husband best wishes.
