Dickensen, Conrad (1894? - 8 NOV 1931)
Conrad Dickensen, 37, better known as "Connie" to his many acquaintances here, was killed Sunday afternoon when his plane went into a tailspin and crashed in a farmyard on Highway 41 north of the Curtiss-Wright Airport, Milwaukee. A passenger, Miss Ethel Galligan was also killed, instantly.
Mr. Dickenson came to Loyal in 1924 and together with his brother Darcey purchased the Elevator, now occupied by O. W. Trindal, who became their partner a few months later. The following year they erected the Chevrolet garage, near the elevator. Since leaving Loyal he has been in the garage business in Bloomer and Princeton, Wis., and in 1930 purchased a restaurant on North 35th Street in Milwaukee.
Funeral services
were held Wednesday afternoon.
