Greske, Fr. William (29 Mar 1803 - 17 Augl 1886)

Died, in this town (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), on Tuesday, Aug. 17th, 1886, of old age and general debility, Mr. Fr. William Greseke, in the 84th year of his age.

Mr. Greseke was born in Pulzow, Prussia, March 29th, 1803. He has resided here for some years past with the family of his step-daughter, Mrs. Carl Hertz. He leaves two step-children, Mr. Wm. Greske and Mrs. Carl Hertz, eight grandchildren, Augusta, Minnie and Mary Greseke, Charles, William, John and Augusta Hertz and Mrs. Herman Brehm and one great-grandchild, Hugo Brehm. The funeral occurred last Thursday, conducted by Rev. Fred Otte.
