Feind, Ed (1833 - 10 Dec 1886)
Edward Feind, one of the oldest residents of this town (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), died last Friday at his residence of some stomach difficulty, aged 53 years. Mr. Feind came to Colby about thirteen years ago and settled on the farm where he died, one mile and a half west of the village. By dint of hard work he had carved himself a handsome farm and erected excellent buildings. He was one of the most industrious men in this portion of the country. He was strictly honest in all business matters and a good citizen generally. He leaves a wife and seven children to mourn his loss. Mr. Feind was a free-thinker and the burial service was conducted by H. C. Bruns, Esq., according to that belief.
