Kanter, Peter (SEP 1874 - 24 Apr 1888)

Died, at Marshfield, April 24th, 1888, from the effects of an injury to one leg, John, son of Peter Kanter of the town of Hull, aged 13 years and 7 months.

Johnny received a cut across the knee from an ax on the 23rd day of March, which resulted in his death. High mass was said at Marshfield on the morning of the 26th by Rev. Father Schaller, who accompanied the remains to this place (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), where the burial services were concluded at the Catholic Church. The remains were interred in the Catholic Cemetery.
